Police from 27 countries launched an operation against pedophilia on Internet
The investigations began in Spain
The detainees have been arrested in Spain, Ireland, United Kingdom, Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Germany and Serbia. All of them are accused of producing and distribute materials having Internet child sexual abuse. The operation began in Spain, following the arrest in Murcia, in the southeast of the country, a person after learning through the exchange of information with the US NGO NECMEC (National Center for Missing & Exploited Children) the existence of a user located in Murcia who was distributing pedophiles files over the Internet. That arrest allowed to discover the plot, the cases of individuals engaged in the exploitation of children in more than twenty countries detected.
The operation was developed in collaboration with Europol and has so far been able to identify 30 victims of abuse and 21 attackers. In the records made it has involved more than 200,000 files of child sexual abuse, in addition to files with dedications "a la carte" for applicants. Among those detained are two producers of audiovisual pornographic material on child abuse.
After analyzing the information intervened, 551 email addresses and more than 80,000 files explicit content of child sexual abuse were detected in different countries. With the cooperation of Europol and Police from the United States, Canada, Ireland, Latvia, France, Greece, Sweden, Switzerland, Germany, United Kingdom, Denmark, Australia, Serbia, Argentina, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Kenya, Nicaragua, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Ukraine, Mexico, Brazil and Chile, could continue the investigation, in which 12 other people were arrested.
Each user had a profile on the Internet through which performed the rise of pedophiles files, which previously cataloged by type corresponding to (sex of child, age, activity, etc.), facilitating access for people who wanted to view them. Generally, detainees maximisng their security measures by performing a control type of profile of each user to ensure that these were people of similar tastes and trends, and avoid detection by the Police forces of various countries, using phrases as: "Want to trade? Write me. I like children aged 1 to 9 years. You send first or nothing, absolutely. If you want good material, send good material. Send me the password and send you mine.
